Begusarai: In a meeting held this afternoon, the Begusarai Municipal Corporation (Nagar Nigam) has unanimously approved a budget for the installation of new, energy-efficient LED streetlights across all 45 wards of the city. The decision was made to address long-standing complaints from residents about defunct lights and public safety concerns. The Mayor stated that the tender process will begin next month, with the goal of completing the project within the next six months to improve visibility and security in residential areas.
